We have been successful in many (not all) of goals in life, because of a strong will and undoubtedly the support of people around us. When Robert started in the weight loss business in 2012, he realized that there were many people who had goals in mind, but no way how to achieve these, and oftentimes, no support structure. His natural passion for people lead him into coaching many of his clients – initially in how to reach weight loss goals, but through word-of-mouth referrals, this expanded to other people in need of guidance in other areas of their life.
Coaching is described as a form of development in which a person called a coach supports a learner or client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance.
Life coaching focuses on an individual’s life as it relates to setting goals and a plan for meeting objectives. In coaching, the assumption is that individuals are capable of generating their own solutions, while the coach provides supportive guidance. The emphasis in coaching is on action and accountability for personal and professional growth, and development based on individually-initiated future-focused change.
